Alex is Group Manager and media relations expert for the Consumer Division at Weber Shandwick working on Nespresso, Ronald Mcdonald House New York, Hellmann's, Chobani yogurt and ABSOLUT vodka.
Prior to that she was an Account Supervisor at Susan Magrino Agency in the Food, Wine & Spirits division, bringing with her a background in public relations and a passion for the culinary arts. Clients included: Stolichnaya Vodka, The James Beard Foundation Awards, Marchesi Antinori wines (with Ste. Michelle Wine Estates), Alison Eighteen, Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, The Plaza Food Hall and The Todd English Food Hall, The Maccioni Group (Le Cirque NYC and Las Vegas; Sirio (New York and Las Vegas) and Circo, and Salumeria Rosi Parmacotto / Cesare Casella.
Prior to joining SMA, she worked at Knight Communications where she handled a range of culinary clients, overseeing events and communication functions for The French Culinary Institute and International Culinary Center, L’Ecole and Chef Terrance Brennan to identify new PR opportunities and implement those strategies.
Alexandra graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from The Fashion Institute of Technology in 2006. She graduated in 2010 from Montclair State University with a Masters of Public and Organizational Relations.
She is a member of Advertising Women in New York and serves on the fund-raising and public relations committee for Self-Help Africa. Her articles have been published in Bergen County the Magazine and Cosmopolitan.
She also handles media relations for Harvest Home Farmer's Market in association with The Marcus Samuelsson Group, 2 Chicks with Chocolate and assists with a project for DeGustibus Cooking School.
Alexandra now lives in New Jersey with her husband and in her free time, enjoys dining out, spending time with friends and family, reading and traveling.
