Jenna Zimmerman - Founder

Jenna is a producer for Pre-Sliced Productions, where she has developed, produced, and post-produced numerous shows for Food Network and Cooking Channel, including Ten Dollar Dinners, Guy’s Big Bite, Symon’s Suppers, Drop 5 Lbs. with Good Housekeeping, Week in a Day with Rachael Ray, and the forthcoming Rachael Ray’s Three in the Bag

Prior to joining Pre-Sliced, Jenna spent 6 years at Food Network and Cooking Channel, working up to the role of Associate Culinary Producer on the shows listed above in addition to Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, Cook Like an Iron Chef, Aarti Party, Cooking for Real, and Tyler’s Ultimate. Leading up to her role at Food Network, Jenna interned with Silver Plume Productions on Easy Entertaining With Michael Chiarello.

Jenna’s favorite part of her job is working directly with chefs and cooking show hosts to develop their recipes, menus, and show concepts. To hone her culinary skills, Jenna studied at the French Culinary Institute and staged in the Food Network Kitchens as well as at Betelnut, a full-service restaurant in San Francisco.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jenna graduated Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Administration.

In her free time, Jenna enjoys cooking for friends and family in her tiny Manhattan apartment, attending food and beverage events, scouting new talent for cooking shows, yoga, and getting lost in a new city, or in her favorite food and travel blogs. Jenna has been honored to serve as a judge for the James Beard Media Awards five years in a row, and regards the annual James Beard Awards weekend as the absolute most wonderful time of the year.
