Laura recently graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a BA in Public Relations. As well as writing and editing for Hungry Nomads she currently works freelance for The Schrec Group. She has worked on projects with clients including Harvest Home with
renowned Chef Marcus Samuelsson, Casa Latina’s First Annual Home Expo, the Self-Help Africa Change Maker’s Ball, Chic
Rattle & Roll Boutique, and Cotte D’Armes during the 2013 New York Fashion Week. She also aided in the creation of a chef app for DeGustibus Cooking School at Macy's Herald Square.
Laura previously worked as the Tumblr expert for Paper Doll Vintage Boutique located on Long Island. She also wrote for an online music magazine during her time in school while also serving as their head photographer. She has photographed events in prestigious venues including Madison Square Garden.
Laura found her love of PR while working to promote musical artists she enjoyed. It grew over the years from there to a passion for her career today. She inadvertently found herself becoming a part of the foodie world, but quickly realized it was where she was meant to be all along.
