The Milleridge Inn has been my family's go to restaurant for years. Whether it be for a family celebration, holiday, or just sunday dinner it's always been one of my favorite places to go. Located in Jericho on Long Island the Milleridge Inn is a classic and traditional place that always pleases. Inside the atmosphere makes you feel warm and comfortable. The main dining room interior decorated in reds and hardwood has a homey feel. This time of year the holiday decorations are spectacular and will put you into the holiday spirit the second you walk in. If you can get a table near the large fireplace in the lovely Copper Room the atmosphere will be all the more festive.

The Milleridge menu changes with the seasons offering the best dishes for the time of the year. In winter you'll find a menu full of warm comfort food. Your meal will consist of four courses including an appetizer, salad, main course, and dessert. Along with freshly baked cinnamon bread and popovers from their very own bakery. For your appetizer I suggest either the Baked Clams Normady or the chopped chicken livers. For a main course I suggest the Milleridge Chicken which is basically a chicken cordon bleu, but absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong with their homemade rice pudding for dessert.

After your meal you can cross the street to the Shops at Milleridge. There's a general store, toy shop, boutique, florist and more. The traditional feel of the Milleridge Inn is what keeps me going back. I always enjoy my meals there. I feel like I'm at home.
