The winter season is upon us! Now that we’re all looking for something warm and comforting to eat, I’m going to share two recipes that I absolutely love. They are some serious crowd pleasers and are so easy to make you won’t believe it. First up is a creamy tortellini soup.
1 bag of frozen tortellini
1 small bag of fresh spinach
2 cans of italian style diced tomatoes
1 box or 4 cups chicken broth (use vegetable broth to make vegetarian)
1 block of cream cheese
Put all ingredients in crockpot, chunking up the cream cheese. Cook on low for 5-6 hrs. (If you don’t have a crock pot, you can also slow simmer on your stove.)
You would not believe how delicious and easy this soup is. I truly believe a crockpot should be a staple of every kitchen.
The next is an old family recipe that I’m sharing exclusively with our readers!

Baked Garlic Pretzels
1pkg Hidden Valley Ranch original
1 1/2 cup olive oil
1 1/2 bags hard pretzels
1 tbs garlic powder
1 tbs lemon pepper seasoning
Break up pretzels in large bowl. Pour ranch over pretzels, then add oil and mix. Pour other ingredients on and mix. Put pretzels on 2 jelly roll pans. Bake 300 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool, return to bowl and mix again.
